Haliey Welch, known as “Hawk Tuah,” is opening up about her high-profile admirers, including a rapper who’s already asked her out on an official date.
We caught up with HT outside the Westin Hotel in NYC, where she revealed that Yung Gravy slid into her DMs after she gained popularity with her now-iconic “spit on that thang” moment.
According to Haliey, YG invited her for a date… check out the video; her reaction wasn’t particularly excited.
Haliey isn’t impressed, stating the artist isn’t “so clean” or “so delicious.”
It’s not surprising that Yung Gravy made a move; he’s known for pursuing other celebrities, including Sofia Vergara after her breakup with Joe Manganiello, and Addison Rae‘s mom, Sheri Easterling, who he brought to the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
Haliey’s attitude matches her character… she’s a Tennessee native, not a wannabe Hollywood star. This might be surprising, but she has turned down opportunities that could have led to more fame and significant wealth.

However, Haliey’s not opposed to business ventures… she’s already registered several trademarks to kick off various “Hawk Tuah”-themed businesses, including BBQ sauce, sunflower seeds, mouthwash, and even a sports betting service.
Looks like Halie’s fame is more than just fleeting… so don’t underestimate her potential.
