James Vincent was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, a city known for its creativity in food and music.  He was naturally drawn to creating music; his mother sang and played the piano and would teach him and his brothers. James began to perform in church at an early age, learning the trumpet, piano, and a number of other instruments.  He discovered as a teenager that this was his passion, and that he wanted to share the joy of this passion with others for the rest of his life.

For many years, James has produced and recorded music that deeply touches the soul and connects many to what he believes is a great reality: God is very real and wants everyone to know him. James is privileged to travel the world, sharing this gift with as many as will allow him. His expression is unique, and many have testified that what he brings is very different from what they’ve heard before.  His recordings include Home: Back to the Garden, a collection of songs that helps us return to the simplicity of relationship with God; A Live Worship Album, a moving, multicultural experience recorded live in Corinth, Texas; La Declaracion Final, a spanish recording; and New Wine from Malaysia, recorded live in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. James continues to release new music such as the single, Break My Walls Down. He has produced most of his recordings under his own label, Worship Beyond Music.

Also under his label is a multinational praise and worship group, WIN Worship Co, who blend multiethnic music and languages to express a fresh, new sound. James takes pride in creating unconventional, stand-out music that lifts the spirit and awakens the soul. Through the WIN Worship initiative, he gives artists a place to collaborate with others with whom they’d never have had the opportunity, to feel that what they have to offer is worth hearing, and to hear their own music in a broader, better produced way.

James takes pleasure in impacting people for good, whether through music, writing, speaking, or other creative expression. He lives in Texas with his wife, Robyn, and has five children.
