Drake Bell may be making a return to TV as he reveals that he and Josh Peck have discussed reuniting for some familiar roles.
The actor talked about the potential for a “Drake & Josh” reboot in an interview with The Patriot-News, mentioning that the two have chatted about a reboot, although it would likely take a more buddy comedy approach than the original family ensemble format.
Drake mentioned that it’s uncertain whether they would reprise their original characters or portray new interpretations of Drake and Josh. He also expressed doubt regarding Miranda Cosgrove‘s return as their sister Megan from the original series.
However, Drake has lingering memories from his time on the original ‘D&J’ … and he has delved into the alleged mistreatment he faced while rising through the Nickelodeon system in “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.”

Thus, it’s understandable that he may not want to return to the role tied to such distressing memories. Yet, collaborating with Peck represents a significant advancement since their relationship hasn’t always been smooth.
Drake shared that Peck reached out to him after watching the documentary … indicating that the two are gradually moving toward collaboration again — it’s the closest they’ve been in years.
In the past, Drake and Josh have had a public feud after Josh did not invite Drake to his wedding, but they managed to reconcile at the 2017 VMAs.
This increased connection signifies yet another development in their relationship … one that will surely have fans embracing each other.
