Celebrity Mint
Dana White is all about fairness in pricing … pulling out cash to pay a fan who offered him unique memorabilia without asking for anything in return — and showing off a stack of cash while doing so.
The head of UFC was attending Fanatics Fest — a multi-day event that showcases some of the leading athletes and sports figures globally — when a fan approached for a quick photo opportunity.
The fan, named Kenny Duncan Jr., is the founder of Celebrity Mint, a business that produces commemorative coins shaped like trading cards featuring iconic sports figures … and he graciously offered Dana a pure gold coin depicting Mike Tyson for no charge.
Dana could have easily taken the card and walked away — but he decided to reciprocate by pulling out a hefty amount of cash, ultimately handing over $600 in return for the .5 gram coin.
Dana — who has a close relationship with “Iron Mike” — handed the cash to Kenny, leaving him pleasantly surprised, as he was initially set to give the card away for free.
Celebrity Mint features other stars aside from Tyson, including Floyd Mayweather, Ric Flair, and Pete Rose — athletes definitely deserving to be immortalized in gold.
Dana is recognized as one of the most diligent figures in sports … and it’s evident that he doesn’t aim to take advantage of anyone!
