Matthew Perry‘s passing has gained notoriety due to the numerous arrests by authorities … however, one of his long-time collaborators wishes for people to celebrate his life instead.
Marta Kauffman, the creator of the iconic “Friends” series, spoke about the groundbreaking show in discussion with The Sunday Times… during this dialogue, she reflected on Perry’s enduring impact.
Marta suggests two ways to honor Perry … one option is donating to addiction treatment, a significant cause for him as he sought sobriety throughout his life.
The second way, as MK mentions … is to binge-watch “Friends” and remember Perry for the happiness he spread — rather than focusing on the unfortunate events surrounding his passing.
five individuals were apprehended linked to the ketamine found in his system at the time.
Dr. Salvador Plasencia, Dr. Mark Chavez, alleged drug dealer Erik Fleming, Perry’s ex-assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, and Jasveen Sangha, known as “The Ketamine Queen,” all face charges in connection with Perry’s death.
Fleming, Iwamasa, and Chavez have all accepted plea deals in their respective cases … whereas Sangha and Plasencia pleaded not guilty to the numerous charges they are each facing. As we previously reported, Sangha was arrested prior to the charges related to Perry in an unrelated investigation.
Despite their arrests, both Plasencia and Chavez retain the ability to prescribe medication to patients … even as prosecutors allege that Perry had convulsed after Plasencia administered him a significant dosage.
