Brother of Ariana Madix, Jeremy, finds himself in serious legal trouble as authorities report his involvement with an accomplice in a bust involving over 100 pounds of marijuana.
Documents acquired by TMZ reveal that Jeremy Madix – known for his appearances on “Vanderpump Rules” alongside his sister – and Jonah Ahad were intercepted at Orlando International Airport, where they were about to board a flight to Frankfurt, Germany on February 16.
However, they never made it past security. According to the documents, agents from Customs and Border Protection found marijuana in their luggage. Specifically, Madix’s bags contained a staggering 64 bundles of marijuana, totaling 76 pounds.
Meanwhile, authorities indicated that there were 31 bags of marijuana weighing 37 pounds found in Ahad’s suitcase.
When police attempted to ask questions, both Madix and Ahad chose not to respond without legal representation, as indicated in the documents.
Interestingly, neither of the men were taken into custody at the time of the February incident, leaving us to seek answers from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Ultimately, both were later arrested under warrants and charged with felony trafficking in cannabis. Ahad was apprehended in May while Madix was arrested just last Tuesday.
