J.D. Vance‘s campaign plane, a Boeing 737 referred to as “Trump Force Two,” executed an emergency landing … adding to the already extensive list of jet issues this year.
The senator from Ohio and his team had to return to Milwaukee on Friday … after a malfunction with a door seal was detected shortly after takeoff, confirmed by campaign representative Taylor Van Kirk.

The Vice Presidential candidate was in Wisconsin — a key swing state leading up to the upcoming Presidential election in November — to participate in a campaign event, where he addressed the Milwaukee Police Association.
Vance — accompanied by his wife, Usha Vance, their dog, and staff members — was on his way to Cincinnati before the plane had to circle back to the tarmac.

The emergency situation didn’t significantly disrupt their travel schedule … the problem was quickly rectified in under an hour, enabling the flight to proceed to Cincinnati once again.
Boeing flights have come under intense scrutiny this year, particularly the 737 Max … after an Alaska Airlines flight experienced a door-plug blowout mid-flight back in January.
Several Boeing flights have encountered problems since then … including a United flight losing a tire, a Southwest Airlines plane’s engine cover detaching, and a Transair Boeing 737 catching fire while on the runway.
It’s fair to say that those on Trump Force Two were fortunate the emergency didn’t turn out to be more severe!
